What is ADAS?

Advanced driver-assistance systems. This can include Lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, pre-collision auto braking, and other driving and parking assisted features. Your car is equipped with a forward facing camera located directly behind your rear-view mirror. You will see the camera best from the front of the vehicle. This camera acts as the eyes for the vehicle and the equipped ADAS features within your vehicle. After glass replacement, collision damage, or anything that would move the camera, your car requires a camera calibration.

Why do I need this?

After a camera is moved or shifted in any way your vehicle requires a camera calibration. As little as a one degree difference in camera angle from the actual vehicle causes a major problem. At a one degree difference this can cut the reaction time down by over 40%. Thats a loss of 40 feet over a 100 foot span.

What do you do?

My technology allows me to take control of the computer in your vehicle. With this, I am able to put the camera through a re-learn calibration. With my tool, I will display necessary target boards and a precisely calculated distance. This now allows the forward facing camera to be looking exactly where it needs to in order for all ADAS features to function properly.
